Bike Shop Sales and Inventory Management System
Bike Shop Sales and Inventory Management System
The Bike Shop Sales and Inventory
Management System serves as the developer’s solution to provide reliable
business record and secured data storage for bike shops. This system will
lessen the time and effort of both employees and managers on recording,
retrieving and monitoring records of the business.
The Bike Shop Sales and Inventory
Management System is developed to address the inaccurate computation of Sales
and Inventory and improve the manual paper-based system of recording data. This
system can manage the list of products, prices and description whether there
are items that are in-stock or nearly out-of-stock. This system is also
developed to track the day-to-day sales and inventory for an organized record
of the bike shop.
The initial scope of this system is to
design, develop and implement a Point of Sale and Inventory Management System
for Bike Shops. This system enables the employee and customer to save time
looking for the availability of the product. The system has the User Access
Level- this is used to identify whether the user is authorized or unauthorized
to access the system. The Sales Module enables the employee to search the
availability of the product and it can also compute the total amount of items
and make payment transactions. In the Inventory Module, the user can add
product, update product, delete product, list items to be ordered to the
supplier, and record whether the items are pending, canceled, or received. The
Utilities Module allows the user to record transactions done by the system
user. It can also add users, update users, delete users, and backup and restore
data. The Reports Module has all the reports like Sales Reports that shows the
list of the daily transactions; Customer Reports that shows the record of the
customers basic information, Employee Reports that shows the record of all the
employee and their positions; the Inventory Report that presents the record of items that is available on the
shop.
