Dog Feeder Using Gsm Technology

Dog Feeder Using Gsm Technology

An animal shelter like Tumalim dog shelter is having trouble feeding their pet dogs on time considering the number of dogs taken care at the shelter. In addition, many dog owners nowadays find ways in feeding their pet dogs as scheduled especially when they are at work. In other cases like at Clinica Veterinaria de  Figura Animal Hospital, dogs' diseases are due to sanitation problems of the dog cage . There are also cases of dog  irritability because of the weather.

The primary objective of this project is to develop and implement the Dog Feeder Using GSM  Technology that will assist and benefit the animal shelters, animal clinics, and dog owners. The  capstone project intended to develop and implement a module that feeds and cleans the cage,  dispenses water and food, a weight sensor for dog food and water level indicator for water, a  notification module using the GSM module, a cleaning module, Cooling Module using Fan. Fire  Emergency exit door and Temperature sensor module for Exit door and Fan.

The capstone project equipped GSM Technology that notifies the user when dispensing and for  refilling the container. Using the dispensing spirals and power window gear motor to dispense dog  food and submersible pump that refill the water bowl and automatically stop refilling when it  reaches the desired liter. the machine will operate once the user inputs time to dispense and clean. The  project is also equipped with pressure water that cleans the cage. The GSM will be responsible for sending messages when dispensing is done and the container needs to be refilled. The capstone  project is also equipped with a fan with a temperature sensor that automatically turns on when it reaches  32 degrees Celsius and an Emergency exit door that automatically opens when the temperature  reaches 55 degrees Celsius.

Overall, the project serves its purpose to dispense dog food and water for the pet dog, develop an  emergency exit door, and reduce the irritability that dogs feel during summer.

This project is still on its development stage and to be completed on February 2022.
