Online Job Finder In Android Mobile Application

Online Job Finder In Android Mobile Application

Online Job Finder in Android Mobile Application is developed to be able to help the applicants and employers to reduce the walk-in appointments in Public Employment Service Office (PESO). It will also help the PESO staff in generating monthly reports and managing the applicant’s and employer’s record. The generated monthly report will be submitted to Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The developed system has a security module that will ask email and password for the authorized users. The System Administrator, PESO Staff, Applicant and Employer are the four (4) types of system users. The authorized users have different access levels in the system. There is a registration module for applicants and employers. To register, each user will provide an email, a password and other identifiable information. There is also an approval module for job posts and employers. This module is accessible by the PESO Staff to be able to check if an employer or a job post is legitimate. Moreover, to know the credibility of the contact information of the users the developed system has an OTP and Email verification module. On the other hand, there is an email notification module for the applicants and employers. In this module, the applicants will be notified on the new job posts, while the employers will be notified if there is an applicant applied to the job vacancy. In terms of maintenance, the system has utilities and maintenance modules that will be accessible by the System Administrator. The utilities module consists of user maintenance, audit trail, backup and restore, and archive module. In the maintenance module, there is a category, employer and job maintenance module. There is a module for the applicants which is the job module. In this module, applicants can search, apply, and view the description included in a job vacancy post. Another module is the Applicant’s module. This module is for uploading a resume, managing background information, viewing job vacancies, applying to/and saving a job post. Then for the employers, they have the Employer’s module. This module is for managing a job post, an applicant and company information. The employers will also view the recommended and hired applicants in this module. Another module for the employers is the request maintenance module. This module can be used to request maintenance such as in category or location through an email. The recommended applicant’s module is for the employers also. This module helps an employer to view and manage the applicants based on their specialization. Lastly, the system has a report module for the generation of applicant’s registration and vacant solicitor’s reports.
