The Resort Online Booking and Billing System is a resort management solution suitable for small to midsize resorts, vacation rentals, and lodges to improve the booking and billing transactions. It is a website that can be accessed by anyone and anywhere as long as there is internet. It can handle both online and offline transactions between guest and resort management.

Hip Nautic Beach is a resort located in Lian, Batangas that is managed by the owner and employees. The daily transactions such as reservation, monitoring and payment are done manually. They only rely on paper and pen, a traditional system to record and store data. There are problems that they usually encounter in the current system such as loss of records, fake booking, and miscomputation. According to them, it is also time-consuming for employees to check records of the guests since they still manually write and store resort data on logbooks.

The developers developed Resort Online Booking and Billing System to improve the overall performance of the resort. The developed system will help the employees save time, improve work performance and enhance data security. Through the online site, it will help the resort to display the facilities and accommodation that they offer that can be viewed by potential guests anywhere. The developed system will improve the monitoring process of the resort’s current state by generating the latest reports from the data stored in the server. Furthermore, it will also allow an online process that provides hassle-free and convenient transactions for both sides.

The initial scope of this project was to design, develop and implement an enhanced booking and billing system through online implementation of the system. The system has modules for functions and features which includes Availability, Online Payments, Real-time Bookings, Quality Images, and reports. It has an interface for both guest, resort employees and system administrators that will allow them to do daily operation tasks.
